Triangle Cricket League (TCL) promotes the game of cricket among kids in the Raleigh-Durham area. Ever since its inception in 2010, TCL has been very instrumental in fostering the continued interest in the game among kids. TCL which comprises of 13 adult teams in the triangle area, volunteers its time to coach kids competing in one of the three leagues, Minor League (Ages: 7-8), Intermediate League( Ages: 9-11) and Major League (Ages: 12-15). Every Spring, Summer, kids meet on a weekly basis for coaching sessions with an experienced coach, who is usually associated with one of the adult teams in the TCL. Summer Program Details
Registration Dates : May 16th to May 27th
Clinic Dates : June 2nd through August 12th.
Payment Method : Check / Paypal /Creditcard
Locations : Crabtree Creek Nature Park, Morrisville
Shiloh Baseball Field, Morrisville
Days : Monday- Saturday
Fee for kids who registered in Spring : $50 ( no facilities fee needed for summer)
Fee for kids who have not participated in Spring : $50+ $40 = $90 ( $40 is yearly facilities fee)
Program Highlights :
- Program this year will have both practices and matches. ( unlike last year where we have mostly practices).
- Practice on one day of the week.
- Match on the weekend.
- Requests for a particular team or practice day. Please let us know at the earliest and we will try our best to accommodate them.
- Special focus this year to have all scores recorded in the system.
- Note that we are starting from 6 years of age.
- Lot more parents involvement requested this year in
+ Scoring : Scoring and recording the scores in the TCL website.
+ Coaching : Both as Head coach and Assistant coaches.
+ Coordinators : Wants to have coordinators at each level so that we can help kids who needs transitioning in mid season to different teams, level and other aspects.
Girls
- If you are registering your girls. Please select the check option. No Fees for girls
- We really want to encourage girls to have their own teams and play.
- Special programs will be created based on number of girls registering.
- Please note that the girls can try it for couple of weeks and then start playing regularly.
Performance Program
- Special sessions will be conducted under the supervision of MR Alvin Kallicharan..
- Program designed for preparing kids for the competitions. Regional and National competitions. This is for Level-4 and 5 and special additional fees will be charged ( $25)
- Level 5 Team will participate in the TCL T20 competition..
